Restaurant Week Aruba is coming up!
In the month of September, visitors and locals alike are looking forward to the Aruba Wine and Dine Restaurant Week. It is a week-long festival of crazy prices and wonderful menus at nine of the most popular restaurants on the island. For just AWG. 45 ($25.75) you are presented with mouthwatering three-course menus. The chefs of the various restaurants have come up with tasty combinations, proudly showcasing their restaurants. In short: check out the 9th Restaurant Week on Aruba, which is held from September 11 through September 18, and enjoy dinner at Hadicurari, MooMba Beach, Nos Clubhuis, Salt & Pepper Restaurant, Tango, Fishes & More, Dragonfly, Café the Plaza and Que Pasa.
Just to give you a sneak peak of the available options, we hereby mention a few that we thought especially tantalizing. What struck us as exceptionally delish was the Swordfish fillet at Fishes & More, the gyozas or Japanese yakitori appetizers at Dragonfly, the Hopi Stout braised veal cheeks with sweet potato mousseline at Hadicurari, the pica papaya aioli and Parmesan touille appetizerat Café the Plaza, the coconut shrimp with a balsamic salad appetizer at Salt & Pepper, the Seafood Quartet of grouper, catch of the day, shrimp and calamari served with local sweet cucumbers, Caribbean rice and a garden salad at Nos Clubhuis, the filet mignon wrapped in bacon with sautéed vegetables at Tango and the tuna and shrimp tempura with oriental sauce and wasabi mayo, seaweed salad and grilled vegetables at MooMba. And we’re just mentioning a few of the choices here!
The Restaurant Week’s profits will go to Maris Stella, the home for Aruba’s elderly. It is just one more reason to go out to dinner during this super special week. Please make your reservations in advance, as these will give you the best seats in the house.
